DISTRICTS on the USA/Canada Region

Thank you for participating in the USA/Canada Region’s CoRe (Cycle of Resurgence) Network! To the left you will see each of our districts located in one of the following 9 fields across our region; Canada, Central USA, East Central USA, Eastern USA, North Central USA, Northwest USA, South Central USA, Southeast USA and Southwest USA.

Participating As A District

The purpose of this page is to help capture, catalogue and communicate information about our participating CoRe Districts. CoRe Districts have a never-ending commitment to keep on learning. One of our most important values is humility…no one knows everything we need to know and we need to keep learning from and listening to each other. In our listening, here are some district practices we have identified that are helping to better facilitate local church involvement in 1) everyone operating in unity, 2) blessing their community, 3) bringing people to Jesus and 4) helping people become Christlike disciples. We simply offer these as ideas for consideration.

  • Participate in a 1 hour “listening and asking questions” session with the Network Director, helping us shape the Network from a DS / District perspective

  • Link CoRe vision (Cycle of Resurgence) within your district resources on your website

  • At your District Assembly, share about CoRe practices in your DS report, i.e. everyone operating in unity, blessing your community, bringing people to Jesus and becoming Christlike disciples

  • Show the annual USA/Canada assembly video

  • Appoint a District Champion to participate in the CoRe Network

  • Encourage local churches to participate in the CoRe Network by talking with pastors, during local church visits, pastor/board reviews, annual community serve days, etc.

  • Talk to your Board of Ministry about linking with our Board of Ministry website for new ministers, encouraging all new ministers in CoRe practices.

Everything we do at the Network is designed to help capture, catalogue and communicate the learning already taking place throughout the church! The CoRe Network is alive and well, bringing a culture of spiritual resurgence in numbers of places! If you have any suggestions for improving the Network, better practices for districts or local churches, PLEASE let us know! You can share your learning at CoRe Feedback, thanks for participating on this learning journey as we share together. We have great days ahead!
